Dr Henny Tamboto
Dr Henny Tamboto received her medical degree from the University of New South Wales and has worked extensively in the public hospital sector, particularly in the fields of general, breast and plastic surgery.
She gained her Master of Surgery for her research in capsular contracture following breast augmentation. Her research was published in the leading specialty journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and she was awarded the John Ham Medal by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Surgical Research Society of Australasia Travel Grant.
From her surgical background, Henny has developed a special interest in skin health, in particular the management of skin cancer. She has undertaken several dermoscopy courses (Professional and Advanced Certificates of Dermoscopy, and Professional Diploma of Dermoscopy) to continually better her diagnostic skills and she also participated in the Skin Cancer Summit.
Her keen interest in skin health has organically expanded to the clinical use of laser in aesthetic medicine. To advance her knowledge and skills in this field, she undertook the ASAPS Anatomical Dissection and Cosmetic Procedures Workshop and attended the NonSurgical Symposium.
Henny believes modern non-surgical tools can help protect and enhance one’s natural beauty in all stages of life. At the Norton Clinic she offers laser treatment individually tailored to one’s skin type and concern. Furthermore, she will provide a complete skin examination as an integral part of an aesthetic consultation, as well as, for skin cancer screening and surveillance.
